VCSC Corporate Eye Camp
The Ophthalmologists emphasized about the 20-20-20 rule for those Employees who spend a good part of day using the Computer. The rule helps reduce eye-strain and relaxes the tired eyes. The Computer Screen is bright and therefore, if we don’t blink our eyes as often as we should while working at the Computer for longer hours, it can cause dry eyes and sometimes even followed by redness.
The 20-20-20 rule suggests that after every 20 minutes, the Computer user should take a break for at least 20 Seconds and look at objects that are 20 feet away.
The Eye tests were done at 3 levels - to detect the vision power distance using an Auto-Refractor meter, a manual test to check on the vision reading condition and Colour vision checkup. The Ophthalmologists had given appropriate suggestions to the Employees to maintain proper vision and also adviced the Employees with corrected vision. Pamphlets were distributed to all Employees with information on healthy eyesight.
Around 150 Employees from the Valingro Group Companies participated in the Eye Camp.
