Chairman Valingro appointed as Chairman of FICCI-TNSC

Mr. Arun has been Convener of FICCI-TNSC’s Technology Panel since Mar 2006. Established under Mr. Arun’s leadership, the Technology Panel has conducted numerous events, notable among them being CeTIT (Citizens Empowerment Through Information Technology). Conceived by Mr. Arun, CeTIT has been a platform to showcase and drive the Government of Tamil Nadu’s eGovernance initiatives. Other programs conducted by the Technology Panel under Mr. Arun’s leadership included IT in Healthcare and Digital Transformation.

In New Delhi, Mr. Arun has served as Co-Chair of FICCI’s Task Force on Homeland Security, Co-Chair of FICCI’s Indo-Korea Business Committee and has been on FICCI’s Indo-Us Business Council. As Co-Chair of FICCI’s Indo-Taiwan Business Cooperation Committee, Mr. Arun led a 25-Member Business Delegation to Taiwan, visiting Taipei & Taichung, highlighting ,’s opportunities in Electronics Manufacturing in particular and strengths within the Manufacturing sector in general – as leader of the Delegation, Mr. Arun delivered high-power presentations to entrepreneurs & industry officials at both cities, along with meeting with the Taiwan Government.
